in iOS Safari the dark theme switch automatically with the System Setting from light to dark, but not in Safari in macOS.

I am not able to reproduce this on MacOS 14.2.1 and Safari 17.2.1.

  • My system settings are set to the dark appearance, and the theme displays the correct dark background by default.
  • I also confirmed that there was no previous local storage saved for the dark mode.

I am not able to reproduce this so unless we do have some more steps we could close this potentially. Thank you everyone for collaborating so far.
