Description

Hello.

I don't know if this problem came with the latest version or not but, with the "Fixed width table cells setting" is on, tables are getting squeezed on mobile.

I think tables should have "fixed width table cells" as on desktop and should be slided like the setting is off when this option is on.

Tested on different themes, same issue.

With the option is on:

With the option off:

Hello!

This doesn't seem to be a core issue, you'd better ask this in the support forums instead: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  • Component changed from Formatting to Editor

@fatihtopuz If you mean the table block's setting, this would not be a support request. However, editor issues should be reported on GitHub:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues

Or perhaps you would rather add a comment to the proposal to make fixed width the default option

Changing this resolution to reported-upstream as it needs to be reported on GitHub in order to investigate.
