#52344 new defect (bug)

SVG images overflows UI

Description

Hello,

This issue seems related to #51868.

Using WP5.6 the issue can be triggered by installing MailPoet 3.58.0. (issue is not related to MailPoet, I just use this as a trigger example, maybe due to its interface on the right)

When MailPoet is not selected the UI (including SVG-icons) seems fine. Selecting MailPoet however seems to trigger SVG-icons above MailPoet to grow and overflow to UI.

Please see attached images for a better understanding:

Thank you for having a look at this issue.

With best regards,

  • Component changed from Menus to Administration

Hi there, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the report.

Moving to the Administration component, as Menus is specifically for the Menus screen and nav menu functions.

Hello,

An update after feedback from the good people at MailPoet.

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-admin-dashboard-colored-icons-above-mailpoet-become-huge/

It seems the issue was caused by MaimPoet's no conflict script, after applying their whitelist filter for scripts and styles the problem was cured.

Please feel free to close this ticket as solved.

Thank you for your kind support.

With best regards,

ShadowHunter
