#5289 closed defect (bug) (invalid)

wp_list_authors doesnt work with echo=false

Reported by: fgubert Owned by:

Description

if i use
wp_list_authors('show_fullname=1&optioncount=0&hide_empty=1&echo=false');
the content returns by echo. if echo=true too.

at the author-template.php, is this:
if ( !$echo )

return $return;

echo $return;

if i replace by this works:
if ($echo == "false") {

return $return;

} else {

echo $return;

}

correct me if i'm wrong, But i think the method all the echo= functions expect a numeric value(Like the others in that query string)

eg:

wp_list_authors('show_fullname=1&optioncount=0&hide_empty=1&echo=0');

false is a string and not "FALSE", so therefore it comes across as "TRUE". ;)
