Description
I periodically search my real name and user name online to make sure nothing shady is going on the dark net. Unfortunately, I found my username/real name combination that I have only associated with my WP support account, on two random websites and it does not appear that either of the website owners are aware of this.
I felt really funny about my real name being wide open to the world on WP, but was told I had NO CHOICE by WordPress support and that my real name could not be removed from my profile. This is why I do not participate in the support community anymore, but that is besides the point at the moment. I mention my real name being stuck on WP in the forums, because it has finally come back to bite me as I am pretty sure the names that appears on these random websites was somehow pulled from public WP support threads I participated in with my username and real name included. I never include my real name on any public forum, except WP and that is because I had no idea my real name would be made public. If I had know, I would have made up a name instead.
I am including screenshots so you can understand the issue I am describing. The images involves a bunch of gibberish posted all over both of these websites with my user name and real name being repeated throughout this verbiage. It appears to be a combination of statements pulled from random places across the internet that make up these huge nonsense paragraphs plastered in very suspect places on these pages. Its even showing up in Google searches. We Transfer is mentioned many times throughout the paragraphs. This is weird and something is not right.
I am reporting this because I believe its possible your site could have been hacked or something suspicious is going on either way and I don't like that my name is showing up all over the internet. I am asking you to look into this to see if it truly is an issue with someone hacking WP my account. Please feel free to reach out for more info.
