Description (last modified by sabernhardt)

Opening a ticket here for potential security vuln caused by plugin that has since been disabled. I was unable to get an answer to the problem from the plugin sub-forum.

PROBLEM: Elementor Plugin creates "preview" pages that remain in service even after disabling the plugin.
SPECIFICS: Ghost Elementor pages most likely left over from drafting the page.
EXAMPLE: https://www.example.com/?elementor-preview=7&ver=1618188909
LINK WP SUPPORT: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ghost-pages-elementor-preview/#post-14346655
VERSION: WordPress 5.7.1 running Zita theme

Please advise where/how to resolve this issue if bug ticket is not the correct path for the problem.

Thank You.

Thanks for the report!

This isn't an issue with WordPress Core. The ?elementor-preview= URLs are generated and managed entirely by the Elementor plugin. Please report this directly in the Elementor support forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor/

Marking this ticket as invalid since it's plugin-specific and not something Core controls.
