Description
I'm trying to edit the widgets on my sidebar, and I get the GDPR banner there, and also the chat assistant pops up for each widget, making it practically impossible to do simple edits as the screen is overcrowded already.

Hi @thechairexpert007,
Welcome to Trac!
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues after updating to WordPress 5.8. WordPress Core does not have a GDPR banner, or a chat assistant built in, so these features are likely added in plugins or your current theme.
You'll need to reach out to them directly for support. If you're still not sure how to determine which plugins are causing the issues, please open an issue on the WordPress.org support forums. There is also a list of helpful troubleshooting tips found in this post.

Hey @thechairexpert007,
You might also want to check out the Classic Widgets plugin, which reverts the WP 5.8 widgets screen back to the original. You can find that plugin here:

The chat widget popping up is probably due to this, which I've already reported and consider a pretty significant bug/issue: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/33580

Hi @desrosj,
Yes, that is true. But I believe a lot of people have chatbots and other privacy related banners as well on their wordpress sites. As you can see in the screenshot, the sidebar widget editor is practically unusable for those (like me) who do. Just thought I should point it out. Maybe other widgets coders will make change to their widgets to adapt to this in the future.
@johnstonphilip
I was able to use this to make life easy :) thanks.
