Hello friends,
Probably this issue is already being tracked. If so please close the ticket.

WordPress 5.8 supports WebP image upload, which works well. But in media library the original color of the image changes completely to a yellow hue. Please see attached screenshots.

Development Environment
OS: Ubuntu 16.04
WordPress version: 5.8
Installed and Active Plugins: Akismet Anti Spam
Installed and Active Themes: 2021

can you please share console.log for css and html for this thumbnail.
I have test in win-10 with 5.8 and development version, this one working fine.

I just check that Google test image (WP5.8, Imagemagick 7, PHP magick 3.5, PHP 8.0) and it worked fine.

WebP doesn't have a lot of support in older OS versions. Maybe try a tool like https://softcreatr.github.io/imei/ and update the Imagemagick.

Hi there, I am experiencing the same thing, relating only to webp type pictures. The yellow hue shows up on the gallery view and on the live website. On the attachment detail view, the image shows up as it should. See attachments 1,2 and 3. I cannot pinpoint the issue to some upgrade of WP as I did not notice it immediately. The images worked fine until a few weeks ago though. Cheers stpeterkomet.
