Categories not available in New Posts

Description
All Categories were working fine, had 700 functioning in older WP version, Website was moved several times by hosting company, the only changes was the WordPress version. When i go to create a new post, only eleven (11) of the 700 Categories are available to use. Did Wordpress leave out a link between the Category Data Base and the New Posts page? There is a search bar there, but none of the missing categories appear when searched. Again i must state that all 700 categories are still present when viewed over in their own section of the dash board ( posts / Categories ) hope this helps solve the mystery for all that may have lost access to their categories. I'm really sorry that this did not receive a timely response. Were you able to figure this out?
If so, could you share some additional details around the solution for anyone else that comes across the same issue?
If you're still experiencing this, can you confirm that this was in the block editor and not the Classic Editor? Any other additional information you can provide (screenshots if possible) to help someone else reproduce the issue would be greatly appreciated!
I'm unable to reproduce this currently with WP 6.3 and many categories, so I'm going to close this out as a
worksforme. Discussion can always continue on a closed ticket. If more information is shared to help others reproduce the problem, the ticket can always be reopened.
