Unable to create & delete categories in firefox

Description
If I have javascript enabled in firefox, it doesn't let me create or delete categories.
If I try to delete a category, it popups an confirmation dialog if I want to, and I click yes and it's disappears. If I "refresh" the page / visit the same https://xxx/wp/wp-admin/categories.php - the category reappears.
It works as it should if I disable javascript in firefox. This both effects firefox (latest) on ubuntu 7.10 and on windows.
If I goto https://xxxx/wp/wp-admin/post-new.php and have javascript enabled, I'm supposed to be able to add categories from there too, but the same stuff happends here. After I try to submit , all fields just go blank as nothing happends.
Is this releated to -> http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/5342#comment:2 ?
I am unable to recreate this problem in 2.3.1.
