It looks like the link on the Beta Testing page to checkout the SVN repository should be updated to https://develop.svn.wordpress.org/trunk/.
However, as the page speaks to developers and non-developers alike, it might be worth linking to the Installing via SVN page instead, as it gives a step-by-step guide to getting set up with SVN, including different workflows.
