    v1 v2
44- The Theme Editor is not just for power users. If a user wants to change some text, etc. sometimes the only available way at that time is to paste a filter snippet from support forums into the `functions.php` file. This requires zero knowledge about FTP or hosting control panel based file managers.
55- Unless I'm mistaken, the Theme Editor should still apply for block themes for the same reason as above.
6 - Every support request about the Theme Editor (on various websites that is, not just WP.org) will need to differentiate between 5.9+ and <5.9, purely because we named something "Editor" and moved the old to make way for the generically-labelled new. "Editor" is a good term for it, but not when there's other editors available.
6- Every support response that mentions the Theme Editor (on various websites that is, not just WP.org) will need to differentiate instructions between 5.9+ and <5.9, purely because we named something "Editor" and moved the old to make way for the generically-labelled new. "Editor" is a good term for it, but not when there's other editors available.
77- A decision to move menu items should be considered final given the impact it has and a repeat of that would cause unnecessary frustration for users.
88- We don't have consensus for this change. That usually means we don't implement the change.
