Description

"Large header with text and a button" and "Media and text in a full height container" blocks continue to grow vertically in the block inserter panel with all bundled themes except Twenty Twenty-Two.

OS: macOS
Browsers: Chrome, Firefox

This is a known issue reported in here in the Gutenberg project https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/34729.

Status: root cause is not yet identified.

Can you comment on that issue and share your video and findings please?

I'll close this ticket as reported upstream in Gutenberg. Let's move all discussions and collaborations to that issue to help contributors identify the root cause and squash it.

Also note, once resolved in Gutenberg, the published packages will be backed to WordPress Core to be packaged with the next release, which hopefully will be 5.9.1.
