Strange German translations

Description

I'm a German native speaker
Test with 5.9 RC 4 + Twenty Twenty Two

1.) Row block: translation has changed in beta several times between "Reihe" (sounds natural for this block) and "Zeile" (sounds strange). But "Zeile" combined with "Allow to wrap multiple lines" as "Erlaube Umbrechen auf mehrere Zeilen" ("Zeilenumbruch" is a usual term) seems to mean "break up in several blocks"! (What a mess!)
So I recommend really to use "Reihe"

2.) Border has changed from "Umrandung" (will do it) to "Rand" (sounds very strange in this context).
You can use "Umrandung" or - maybe better - the usual term in German for this usage: "Rahmen"

Hi,

you may want to join the german polyglots team on slack: https://dewp.slack.com/signup (channel #polyglots). That's a better place to discuss and solve such things.

Hello and thank you for reporting this,

Indeed, you need to report this to the de_DE polyglots team.
Closing this ticket as invalid, which is the "best" closing keyword we have in that case (though it's not super welcoming…).

Thank you,
Jb

@burnuser After discussing it on German Slack channel, I changed all strings with Reihe to Zeile to be consistent.
Border should always be Rahmen, of course. Seems to be an old mistake (since 2010).

Thanks for your feedback. You can also get in touch with us on the German Slack #polyglots channel. How to join German Slack Channel.

Cheers,
Jens
