Can't change colour of one word within a paragraph

Description

Since 5.9 it's now not possible to change the colour of one word within a paragraph to a custom colour.
If you select the word, go to Highlight and Text, you can change to one of the preset colours, but if you try to overwrite the hex code, it won't let you.
