Description

Hi,

I have found that when I write a date (e.g. "5. dubna 2022" that is 5th of April, but in Czech format) at the beginning of line in post that WordPress renders it to default 1.1. at frontend.

Text remains the same at backend but generated post at frontend:

  • changes to 1. 1. 2022
  • and in html code there is ordered list

When any characters are before the date on that line, nothing changes at frontend.

Hi @jhn11

Is this still happening?

I tried to reproduce it.

Is it only in the classic editor?

Replying to pbearne:

Hi @jhn11

I tried to reproduce it.

Is it only in the classic editor?

I use classic editor only, so I cannot tell if this happens in Gutenberg.

Nevertheless, this happens also when I use markdown syntax and it is converted to html.

It happens with any number at the beginning, it does not matter if it is bullet point or sentence.

I use most updated version of WP, so I think it happens.

Do you want me to make some video?
