Thanks for the report!

This is an issue with the ​English (South Africa) translation.

Both month names and weekdays were abbreviated. Earlier this month, someone proposed changing each of the months, and those will need to be approved. The days do not have another translation suggested yet, to use the full name.

Marking for closure, as it's not an issue with WordPress core and should be resolved once the correct translations are approved. Keeping the ticket open for now until that happens.
