In order to install or update a plugin, appropriate functions are called in the backend. They end up with the error mentioned above. WordPress 5.9.3 is installed. The updates and installations work in the CLI.

• Plugins:
  • Test Reports 1.2.0
  • WP Crontrol 1.18.0

Actual Results

1. ❌ The reported cURL error (77) could not be reproduced.
2. ✅ Updated the plugin to latest version without any error.

Additional Notes

• The issue may have been caused by a temporary server configuration problem or a transient outage on WordPress.org's end at the time the original report was filed.
