Under Tools, import tool disallows another import

Component: Import Keywords:

Description

On WordPress.com dashboard, after an import, the success screen does not go off and occupies the place of the import button. So a user cannot import again. Even if the user goes back to Tools and navigates back to Import, the situation persist. To get the Import button back, the user needs to go another section of the admin dashboard and then come back. Its like an import locks the session till one leaves the Tools component.

Hi there, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the ticket.

It looks like you're using the commercial WordPress.com service, which is separate from the open-source WordPress content management system, and this issue tracking system is for the latter. You can read more about the differences at WordPress vs. WordPress.com.

Could you test if the same issue also exists on a clean install of WordPress?

Hi,

Sorry.

Yes, the feature I was mentioning was observed on the commercial version.

I tried the Import on the open source and it works right.

So I am thinking, I will have to delete this listing because its in the wrong category.

Thanks.
