Description
most of the text strings posted in this thread:
http://wordpress.org/support/6/4688
seem to be missing. Esp. Options >> Linkmanager.
I used poEdit and the POT from the WIKI (checked again today 15-06) and also the PHP files from the latest nightly 13-06-2004. The resulting de_De PO and MO files are in the WIKI.
Also, the email that gets sent to the admin when comments are posted do contain garbled ASCII chars when there are apostrophes and umlauts, the email template text also is not translated yet.

The Link Manager page in its current form can't be translated since it generated from the DB. The Link Manager page needs to be rewritten in the manner the other option pages were rewritten for 1.2.
Someone is working on the email.
Most others should be translated. I need to generate a new POT and upload it to codex.
most of this is still uncovered. any update?
addendum: recent cvs: when there are more than 1 comments the comments page will always show the english term, eg. 9 Comments instead of 9 _translation_
