Description

The icon set in the customizer does not create an icon, or even a tag.

Could you please provide more details to help to reproduce the issue?
Does it occurs using a fresh WordPress installation and a native theme? And which theme?

I looked though the page code of the home page when I didn't see the icon appearing in the tab, there I found no tag to display it(I tried resetting the tab icon in the Customizer, but it still didn't appear).

Hi @cjcodingyu8am1 can you provide us with step by step instructions to reproduce it? I'm having trouble understanding the instance where this is broken. Which tab is this that you are referencing?
