Empty white space on the home side

With a WP 6.1 installation I'm now trying using twenty twentytwo (twentythree it's definitly too green at the moment, although it's an amazing theme).

I find some difficulty on removing empty white spaces that appear on both sides on my back footer. In addition, for the same reason I guess, i notice that when I visit the website through my smartphone, the view is not perfectly centered, but it is unbalanced on the right
