Description

Hi

By checking my RSS Feed on the W3.org-site I got "Blank line before XML declaration" and "not valid".

Therefore I removed ALL the blank lines in feed-rss.php, feed-rss2.php and feed-rss2-comments.php are and it works now.

So I highly recommend to update those files in the next update.

Regards
Markus

I'm curious if this was an issue with a bare bones install with no extra plugins installed and the default theme being the active theme.

If there were plugins and other things running, they could have been affecting the output of the feed(s), causing the errors. If that's the case, then it'd be more an issue to take up with the plugin causing it, than something to do with the core feed generating.
