Admin Color Scheme - update by on change / save?

I have checked that in the profile section.
if the user clicks on the update profile button, all fields are updated, but for the Admin Color Scheme field, the user changing the color, it will be directly updated without clicking on update profile. so is there any issue or it's do intentional?
