I can confirm hitting the same issue if Theme 2020 is active.

I also ran some more tests on other themes and here are the results:

Tested on
Chrome (Version 111.0.5563.146 (Official Build) (x86_64))
Mac OS Monterey 12.6.3
WordPress version 6.1.1
PHP 7.4

This is happening for me when creating blank theme with "Create Block Theme" plugin, so I don't think it's limited to Twenty Twenty theme.

Depending on the theme there are a number of settings across blocks might not be supported if came into effect after the theme. This could be the theme itself counters or overrules them in it's styling or that it just doesn't work with the new block settings.

I can confirm that today, Twenty Twenty doesn't work for font weight changes on button block. If this ticket is to solve that then I will change the title to focus there a patch. Thanks everyone.
