Permalinks do not work in https

Description

With https property set up in APache2 and working on non-Wordpress pages, Wordpress properly redirects plain permalinks to pages in both http and https, All other Permalinks fail in https. The .htaccess file gets properly created and forwards to index.php, but after that, the Permalinks only work without https.
All plugins deactivated.
Several pages created.
