Description
The links under the 'W' menu are little used links in a high-traffic context. They are also external links in a menu that otherwise only accesses information within WordPress.
Following up from discussions on #55960, I'm proposing that we remove the dropdown of links currently attached to the 'W' menu and replace it with a single link for support and resource information.
This would allow us to create a page that offers much more significant user and developer assistance by directing users to a wide variety of resources on WordPress.org.

@joedolson I would love to support with this task, if at all possible. Are we ready to move forward on this update? Do we have an idea of how this might look, in the end?

@stephenerdelyi I would imagine it being something that was integrated with the 'About' page, adding an additional tab along with Credits/Freedoms/Privacy/Get Involved.
So it would follow the same design pattern as those pages, with information that could eliminate the need for the WordPress.org, Documentation, Learn WordPress, Support, and Feedback links in the logo dropdown.
I'm sure there are other ideas, but that's what I think makes the most sense.

- Milestone changed from 6.7 to Future Release
This one is still in the idea phase and there's nothing actionable. With the beta 1 feature deadline in less than 24 hours, I'm going to punt this to Future Release
.
This seems like it may be a good candidate for a proposal or call for feedback on the Make blog.
I think it would be good to explore this for 6.7. Having a dedicated page for help, educational, and support resources as part of the About page subtabs would be a good way of having a more engaging way to share this information. Right now, all of these resources are a bit buried.
@courane_01, @marybaum, you might be good people to have in this discussion about expanding visibility of this type of information.
