Description (last modified by sabernhardt)

Hi, I am getting "AH01276: Cannot serve directory " for the following error log: which is giving at 500 server error. I have spoke with BlueHost.com, and they are not looking into what the error means , although I asked to have my question sent to someone higher up who knows Apache server but , alas they won't.

Hi and welcome to WordPress Core Trac!

The support forums would be the appropriate place to get individual site help, and several existing topics mention the error message:
https://wordpress.org/search/No+matching+DirectoryIndex/

I do not know about your case, but this might even be a good error to have if the attempts to access the directory are coming from bots or people who should not see the indexes.

ahh.. thanks :) but then why am I getting 500 internal server error every so often? I thought this was the reason lol. Is there a way to find out why I am getting randomly 500 server error? Thanks
