Description

When using the List View in the block editor, if a block is not currently visible in the viewport of the editor, selecting that block from the List View results in a black screen.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Install WordPress 6.3 Beta-3.
  • Create a new post or page.
  • Add multiple blocks, ensuring that some of them are not currently visible within the viewport of the block editor.
  • Switch to List View to see the list of blocks.
  • Choose "Select" from Tools.
  • Attempt to select a block from the List View that is not currently visible in the viewport.

Hey, I have also reproduced this at my end.

This is also happening with different theme styles as well.

Browser: Chrome 113.0.0.0 (macOS Ventura 13.4.1)
Theme: Twenty Twenty-Three 1.1

Plugins: Query Monitor, Spectra, Gutenberg & WordPress Beta Tester.
