Site editor fails to open 6.4 beta 2

Description

I cloned an existing site and updated the clone to 6.4 beta 2 with the beta tester plugin. I can't seem to open the site editor even with all plugins off. Seems to happen with all core themes.

I tried to reproduce with a new localWP install but there it just loads.

Whoops. Yes, Abha. Changed the title.

More info is that when I do install the Gutenberg plugin, both editing a page and the Site editor do load.

Okay, weirdly enough it was also fixed when I pushed an SSL certificate on the clone. I'll close this report, not sure what the Javascript errors were though.
