Description

Testing Instructions

I found this while testing Global Styles Revisions for 6.4, but was able to reproduce it in 6.3.1.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Appearance -> Editor
  2. Select a different style under Styles and Save (this creates a revision)
  3. Open the revisions panel
  4. Click on the Revisions symbol (a clock) and select Reset to defaults
  5. The wrong preview/state is shown

Hello! Thanks for creating this ticket.

I've tested and I think I can reproduce: the "unsaved changes" item at the top isn't updating when resetting the styles.

I think this should rather be an issue in the Gutenberg GitHub repository.

I've created an issue here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/55866

I'll resolve this ticket as "Reported upstream".
