It is indeed a major problem After the update to 6.4 I cannot open a page or a post to edit. I get a message asking me to enable Javascript in the browser. Even opening a page or a post in the Classic Editor is a disaster as there is no way to show the right or the left menu bar and other controls.

I traced my problem to the theme in use. Now I'm waiting to hear from the theme developer. I hope it can be fixed quickly as I have some editing to to.

Thank you @tw2113 for the recommendation and @jbconcep for your report. I agree with the recommendation to close this based on the issue stemming from the active theme. If anything else arises that indicates this is beyond the theme as an issue please come back to this ticket though, we can always reopen.

For now, I am closing with a status of 'works for me' as this is an issue in the theme itself.
