  • Component changed from General to Help/About
  • Focuses ui-copy added; ui css removed
  • Type changed from defect (bug) to enhancement
  • Version changed from 6.4.2 to 4.9

The Privacy page and links to it were added on #40794. (See comment:43:ticket:40794.)

Ideally, those tab-like links in the about pages would be as short as possible.

On the other hand, the same ​translatable string was reused for the privacy settings pages. Differentiating them might help.

Hi @dilip2615, can you explain what you see as the reasoning behind this change? I think Privacy is a better label for this since Privacy Policy could imply that this is the policy for the individual site (which is the responsibility of the site owner) rather than a statement about WordPress the software's privacy.

I do agree that making this string seperatly translatable could be beneficial.

To make them separately translatable, is adding a context in _x()enough ?
