Number system

I have looked everywhere and have been doing so for months. I still can't find the solution.

The numbering system starts again at 1 when I want it to continue in between images of titles. There has got to be a fix for this bug. Many people as I saw in my research for a solution are having the same problem. Please advice.

Can you include any more information?
It is not clear to mean what numbering system you are referring to.

Kindly include as detailed information as possible, so that others can reproduce it and test solutions.

I want the numbers of my content to continue instead of restarting again after I insert an image of other contents.
It has to stay like this: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 but instead it starts the numbering again from 1.

I guess you mean when having several list blocks with ordered items, you want the next list to continue from the previous list block (in the same container), instead of starting at 1 or a fixed custom number? Since this start number will not change when previous lists are changed, it can easily be missed so gaps or duplicates may suddenly occur. Been there, myself.

A bit complicated, since ordered lists may have different type of numbers/letters/symbols, but i guess that can be ignored and left to the author to use the same symbols when continuing in a new block.

Or are you talking about something completely different, like chapter headings?

The list block already has an option for ordered lists called start value, where you enter a number.

It is in the block settings panel, the sidebar.

So if your first ordered list ends at 4, you can start the second list at 5.
