Description
The vertical alignment icon is not showing in the table
Environment
- WordPress: 6.5-RC1
- PHP: 8.2.9
- Server: Apache
- Database: mysqli (Server: 10.5.16-MariaDB-log / Client: mysqlnd 8.2.9)
- Browser: Opera (Windows 10/11)
- Theme: Twenty Twenty
Steps to Reproduce
- 🐞 Add a table and text of different lengths in each cell.
- Click edit.
Expected Results
- ✅ The icon for vertical alignment should be next to the horizontal alignment icon.
Actual Results
- ❌ The icon is just missing making it impossible to align text or images vertically (top, center, bottom) in the table unless using custom CSS.

This report should belong on GitHub, but do you still have an older site that shows vertical alignment options? I do not remember seeing that set of buttons for the Table block, and I do not find it in my 6.2 or 6.4 WordPress local installations. I only found a request to add the alignment feature in #49897/GB6923.

I don't think this is a bug in 6.5, I think this is a feature request that should be reported to the Gutenberg repo.
