Apostrophe is not displaying correct in German when using the Plugin WPML

The apostrophe ' is not displaying correct in German using the WPML plugin. If you type the apostrophe (') it is not displayed at the top but instead it is at the bottom. This is not correct.
I have contacted WPML for the issue, but they say that there is nothing they can do, because WordPress shows Apostrophes as per German standards on the front.

Before we dive into details, just use ’ (ALT + 0146) and it will work.

ok, thank you, I do not have a Windows laptop, but it also seems to work when I copy the Apostrophe. Still strange that it does not display it correctly after automatic translation, but it is an easy fix. Thank you.

I wanted to see if anyone was able to reproduce this issue without the WPML plugin active in default WordPress.

iirc it had nothing to do with the WPML Plugin.
