Wouldn't it be nice if a gallery would have an option to make it a lightbox?

And with a lightbox I mean the functionality on the frontend to have arrows left and or right of the current picture with which to navigate to the next or previous image if available.

The gallery lightbox option was already suggested in the Gutenberg repository, where it needs to be developed:
​https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/37652
