Hello Team,
I have reviewed "Modified Date" block functionality and I have found that when we enable "Link to page" setting from "Setting" tab it's text color is not change on the front-end when we trying to change it from block setting.

I have checked above mentioned issue and I have resolved it and added patch. Also, I have attached screenshot after resolved this issue.

Date and Modified Date block links already showed the selected color on a category archive page when the post has not been visited yet

The gray text color comes from the :visited state, which will happen every time you visit that published post.
If you open another browser or a private/incognito window without visiting the post, you could visit the category archive page to find the links in your chosen text color.
