After wordpress 6.6 gutenburg editor is so slow , i can't even write a word , it is that slow

Device I use - Macbook m1 air 8gb , I closed all other apps and no swap memory is used , only gutenberg editor has this problem , I cant edit a page , Please fix this , is there any way to go back to old version.

Same here, block editor is very slow, i cant even writing normaly after update to WP 6.6.1, please someone take this seriously and fix it🙏

Hey @refract0188 and @fakhrur, thanks for reporting and confirming that you experienced something similar.

I'm unable to experience such slowness myself and, according to your machine and internet speed, you shouldn't either. Could either of you share a bit more about your environment (e.g., other plugins, size of the post you are trying to load, etc.)? Did you experience this with 6.6.0, too?

Does the whole system become unresponsive, or only the editor? If the rest of the system is responding well, attaching a video of the issue would be extremely helpful.

I am facing the issue when I am using the carousal widget in gutenberg , I use blocksy theme and stackable blocks plugin .

This issue was not there before but it is happening now

Thanks, @refract0188. I can't seem to reproduce it on my slightly more powerful machine with a combination of Brave browser, Blocksy theme, and the Stackable blocks' Carousel block as a widget; it's working fine on my end, so let's see if somebody else can.

@priethor thanks for explaining, i currently using Greenshift FSE and Greenshift Pagebuidler for my website, and activated 14 plugins, i rolled back to wordpress 6.5.5 its absolutely fine, but in wordpress 6.6.1 is like not stable if i try writing on, btw i am using Mobile Phone to make my site, and also writing too with google chrome mobile :)

As it's yet unable to reproduce, moving this ticket to normal severity and returning it to Awaiting Review.

Also noting, if there's a bug to resolve, likely that would need to happen upstream in the Gutenberg repo. Reporting there could help to move it to resolution more quickly.
