Description

Hello,
after upgrading to WordPress 6.6 or 6.6.1 my website stopped displaying submenu in website main menu. URL of my site is https://martinvlach.cz/

I deactivated all plugins but the issue remains.
I downgraded to WordPress 6.5.5 and submenus work well again.

Hello @wlashack, what happens when you switch to a standard theme, like twentyXY ?

  • Milestone changed from Awaiting Review to 6.6.3
  • Version changed from 6.6.1 to 6.6

Hello @wlashack,

Welcome to WordPress Core's Trac. Thank you for reporting the issue.

You indicated that you downgraded back to WordPress 6.5.5. Looking at your website, I'm not seeing submenus in the main (top) menu. Does your site still have submenus?

If yes, have you tried upgrading to 6.6.2? If yes, did it solve the problem?

I'll move this ticket into 6.6.3 for tracking. That said, more information is needed before it can be actioned on, assuming the issue persists after 6.6.2.

  • Keywords close added
  • Milestone changed from 6.6.3 to Awaiting Review

This one can't proceed without more reporter-feedback. I'm going to move this out of the 6.6.3 milestone (there are no plans for a 6.6.3 at this time with 6.7 RC1 due out any moment), and mark with a close suggestion pending additional details being provided.
