Can't edit reusable blocks - weird interface scroll error

Reported by: trek7k's profile trek7k Owned by:

Description

Following one of the 6.6x updates, it's no longer possible to update reusable blocks in the editor. It appears the editor area tries to scroll to the bottom of the input but keeps returning to the top. See screen recording with all plugins disabled: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1redXwNDoGUHh1fp0gAReePf4L-DjTnzI/view

Broken in both Chrome and Safari (Mac).

Hi!

I am not able to reproduce this.
Can you share anymore details and step by step instructions for how to reproduce the issue?
What is the width and height of your browser window?
What editing mode are you using? Because in the clip, the editor toolbar does not look like any editing mode that I recognize (top toolbar, full screen etc).

Does this happen with all themes, and with all synced patterns?

I am calling it "synced pattern", since the reusable blocks have been replaced by synced patterns.

  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

Ah, it looks like the issue is being caused by the theme that is in use. Switching to Twenty Twenty-Four I am able to edit the synced pattern. 👍🏼
