Hi there,
I tried installing the same plugin after the Elementor plugin's dependency and did not get the error.
Please check the plugins directory manually or try to check the same in new WordPress setup.

Hey @1008sundar, Welcome to Trac!

I followed the steps mentioned by you and was unable to reproduce this error.

Environment:
WordPress 6.6.2
Clean default installation
Default theme (Twenty Twenty-Four)
No existing plugins

Steps to reproduce:
Logged in as admin
Navigated to Plugins > Add New
Attempted multiple plugin installations ( Elementor -> RT Mega Menu )
Checked plugin status after installation

Result:
Plugins installed successfully without errors

Screenshot:

However, this issue can be resolved by uninstalling the RT Mega Menu plugin completely along with deleting its existing directory from wp-content/plugins/, and then reinstalling the plugin.

Let me know if this works or if can do better!

Hi @1008sundar,

Welcome to Trac! This warning is common if the folder already exists but is empty. Is it possible that this plugin was installed previously and then deleted? It could possibly be the folder itself remained.

Regardless of that, other contributors have been unable to reproduce the issue as described, so I'm going to close this out. Discussion can always continue on closed issues, and it can be reopened if more details are shared showing how to reliably reproduce the problem.
