Here I found pattern title section not revealing, not sure if this is a bug or not!..

I see your #meta7838 ticket was moved to https://github.com/WordPress/pattern-directory/issues/714

Until selecting the title with a mouse works (and/or when the "Add title" placeholder shows), you could try editing the pattern title by either:

  1. Opening the sidebar and using its Title field, or
  2. Using the tab key to move the cursor inside the title bar.
