Description

In the Twenty Twenty theme, when using the Pullquote block, there is no padding applied to the block content. This results in the text appearing too close to the edges of the block.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Activate the Twenty Twenty theme.
  • Create a new post or edit an existing one.
  • Add a Pullquote block and insert some text.
  • Apply a background color to the Pullquote block to make it more visible.

Nice catch, @sukhendu2002!

I tested your PR and reviewed the CSS. We should use the WordPress CSS variable --wp--preset--spacing--30 for improved consistency.

  • Summary changed from No Padding in Pullquote Block in Twenty Twenty Theme to Twenty Twenty: No Padding in Pullquote Block with Background Color

#61321 already tracks the request for padding when a Pullquote has either a background or a border (and it might change Twenty Twenty's default). Please follow that ticket.
