Definitely. And in a prominent position. "Pending comments" get their nice little comment bubble, but pending posts are more important than pending comments. I'm thinking pending posts need their own line (if present, naturally) in the "Right Now" div. Patch coming.

Patch works "There is/are [num] post/posts pending your review." onto the end of the dashboard count sentence, if there are posts and the current user can publish them. Would like to get this in for 2.5, but fear we may be string-frozen.

[6:44pm] rboren: Most i18n folks aren't trying to release same day as WP 2.5. They assume release + 6 days or so.
