plugin not appearing when searched with exact name

Description

I have uploaded our Plugin to SVN and its now showing on the public url but not coming in searches even if I search the exact name and also we used the name in the tags too. Can you advise please what should we do so the plugin appears when searched. Thanks!

While this ticket was created before my own, it lacks some specific details as well as not being assigned to a specific Component where it will get the right attention (no replies ore admin action in 4 months).

My ticket is #63552. @shiperman, please add your comments and specific case to that ticket. I'm going to be promoting it to a group of developers who is also concerned with this issue.

@andrewhoyer the plugins page uses an API provided by the WP meta to get the plugins. WordPress core only handles and displays such response.

For this reason, I would suggest opening a ticket in the meta trac https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/
And then report here the number of such ticket
