    1 - There are two PRs linked to this ticket, but the correct PR is [https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-develop/pull/8705 #8705].
    2 - I'm not sure how to apply this PR to Gutenberg because WP_Theme is a final class and the Gutenberg plugin cannot extend it.
