Description
Environment
- WordPress: 6.8
- PHP: 8.2.16
- Webserver: Apache 2.4
- Database: MariaDB 10.6
- Theme: Twenty Twenty‑Five
- Plugins: *any single plugin reproduces the bug* (tested with Classic Widgets, Akismet, WooCommerce)
Steps to reproduce
- Fresh WP 6.8 install, theme unchanged.
- Activate any one plugin.
- Visit Users → Profile.
- Scroll to bottom.
Expected result: “Application Passwords” panel is visible.
Actual result: Panel is missing.
Notes
- Disabling the plugin instantly brings the panel back.
WP_APPLICATION_PASSWORDS_DISABLE
is not set.- Site Health reports “Application Passwords: Available = No” when any plugin active.

- WooCommerce 9.8.1
- Classic Editor 1.6.7
Actual Results
- ❌ The issue could not be reproduced.
- ✅ The "Application Passwords" panel is visible as expected on the user profile page.
