Description (last modified by )
- Related core ticket: #62368
- Related Gutenberg issue: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/63785
In [59910], we replaced the "Edit Site" link in the admin bar to point to the top-level screen of the Site Editor, instead of opening the current template.
However, we've gotten some feedback that this new link is causing confusion in workflows.
For the 6.8 release, we'll revert to the previous link (i.e., a link to the current template), and aim for a more ideal link (possibly with a submenu) in the future.
