I'm not sure this is the right place to suggest this — and that's partly why I’m suggesting it.
I believe the WordPress team could benefit from using a feature request management platform (like Canny) to help prioritize tasks and stay better connected with the community.
It often feels like things fall through the cracks and never get picked up. Overall, prioritization seems suboptimal.
For example, adding block support to term descriptions or stabilizing the Table of Contents block may be more important to many in the community than some of the current priorities.
A platform like this would also make it easier for less technically inclined users to have their voices heard.
